Kansas City Auto Show Parks at Bartle Hall

It’s that time of year again, the Kansas City Auto Show is about to descend on all of us at Bartle Hall. Kansas City’s biggest car show will bring hundreds of cars and a plethora of events to entertain guests of all ages. You will have plenty of time to explore all the activities and see all the cars. This year the show runs from February 28th to March 4th (today – Sunday!)

The KC Auto show will be off to a rocking start this year as John Michael Montgomery and Blue Oyster Cult combine forces to perform a show benefitting the Automobile Dealers of Greater Kansas City Charitable Foundation on today, Wednesday, February 28, at 7pm. Tickets are $50 and you can still grab yours today.

As an added bonus, two members of the Kansas City Chiefs will be at the Honda booth, Kareem Hunt and Patrick Mahomes. Be sure to check the schedule for exact times they will be signing autographs and meeting fans.

But given it’s the Kansas City Auto Show, it really is all about the cars. You’ll be able to see a variety of classic cars from private collections and the Kansas City Automotive Museum.

If just looking isn’t your thing, then you should check out the Ride N’ Drives. This is where you can take your pick of select cars from Buick, GMC, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota and Volkswagen and go for a spin on a short course in the heart of downtown Kansas City. It’s the test drive without having to go to a dealership. If you have time, we would definitely recommend these.

Other activities include seeing Spider-Man, Captain America and MAXX the robot. You can drop the kids off in the Kids Korner and they will be able to play darts on a giant dartboard, jump in bounce houses or challenge other kids to heart-pumping time trial races. And the fun doesn’t stop there. Kids can create their own yummy snack, make crafts and so much more.

While the kids are having the time of their lives you can participate in the Ride N’ Drive, go to the KC’s Garage for some grub or just mosey around all the classic and vintage cars.  There will also be several food trucks local to KC so be sure to partake in some of the local cuisines.
