You have spoken, you have voted, and we have made a selection for our very first customer submitted AutoMods car. In the coming weeks, we’ll be virtually modding a 2008 Nissan 350Z base model.
Reader Kevin Caveny submitted this idea, and we think it’s both perfect, because the Z is an awesome, affordable performance platform; and appropriate, because Yutaka Katayama, the Nissan executive responsible for bringing the original 240Z into production way back in 1970, passed away last week. He was 105.
Congratulations, Kevin! We’ll reach out to you shortly to get you your $100 StreetsideAuto.com gift card!
If you didn’t win, don’t give up! We had many great suggestions and it was a tough choice, so yes, Lloyd Christmas, we’re saying there’s a chance. Just keep submitting your suggestions on AutoMods posts, and we’ll be sure to keep you in the running.
Stay tuned next week as we mod the crap out of a 1995 Chevy Camaro Z/28, followed shortly thereafter with the 350Z!
